Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones fabella.io uses and how to change your choice. Last updated: 5 November 2026.

Your choice

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. They only run if you choose Accept all. Necessary storage is always on, because the site needs it. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies on fabella.io and reload the page.

Necessary

  • uv-consent (local storage, fabella.io): remembers your cookie choice. Kept for 12 months.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com): checks that form submissions come from a person, to stop spam.

Measurement without cookies

We count page views and prompt-box use per page with PostHog. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it isn’t part of your cookie choice. The privacy policy explains what it processes.

Analytics (only with consent)

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM-PF77BRH2): loads our measurement tags. It sets no cookies itself.
  • Google Analytics 4: shows how the site is used. Sets _ga and _ga_4RPQMF2JCR on fabella.io, kept for 2 years.

Marketing (only with consent)

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: measures the results of our LinkedIn advertising. It sets cookies such as li_sugr (90 days), bcookie (1 year), lidc (1 day), UserMatchHistory and AnalyticsSyncHistory (30 days), mostly on linkedin.com.

The Fabella editor

editor.fabella.io uses cookies and local storage it needs to keep you signed in and to work, and PostHog to understand how the editor is used and to find errors. The privacy policy covers that.
